~ Ness & Mic xx
How often do you add items to your store?
We try and add items regularly in smaller batches aside from the main shop updates that can happen once to twice a month. This way it is fair for everyone trying to get a piece of the Marley & Lockyer range.
Are your wares food safe and dishwasher safe?
Yes, all items are all food safe, except for Christmas decorative items. All serving pieces are dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. While items are dishwasher safe, hand washing is preferred to prolong the quality of your item.
How do I place a custom order?
Now and then custom order items become available. However, this is not always possible as it takes a long time to create a custom piece, taking Ness away from creating lots of other pieces. When items for custom orders become available, they are advertised on our social channels.
What is your shipping/refund policy?
We make every effort to inspect all goods before leaving the studio. Should you happen to find a functional fault, please contact us at marleyandlockyer@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your item(s) and we will direct you on what to do next.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order/invoice number.
Returns are not accepted after 14 days of date of delivery. Return postage is at customers own expense. No returns on seconds or sale items. Return postage is at customers expense.
You can always contact us for any return question at marleyandlockyer@gmail.com.
Variations in pieces.
Please note that all of Marley & Lockyer's items are completely handmade from natural elements. This means items may vary slightly from measurements and images shown online. Each piece is unique in its own way, and slight differences in clay/glaze/ print may vary. Some prints will be lighter/deeper, artwork darker/lighter, glaze variances and slight shape changes that happen during the firing processes. It’s all a part of the honest nature of clay, and it’s what we love about the Marley & Lockyer collections.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
When will I expect to receive my order?
Once you have placed your order, your item will be shipped as soon as possible, with the exception of custom pieces. As we have a lot of orders to pack each week, sometimes it may take a few extra days.
Within Australia it can be 3 -7 days, overseas items can take 10-21 days to arrive. Please note Covid-19 has slowed shipping down at this time.
When your item ships, you will be provided with a tracking number so you can see where your order is during its journey to you.
We use Australia Post to ship our items worldwide.
International orders.
We ship worldwide. Please get in touch if your country does not show during checkout for a shipping quote. Once an order leave the studio, the package is in the hands of the postal carrier and customs. Marley & Lockyer are not responsible for any taxes or customs charges.
Can you tell me what you use to create your products?
While I’m flattered that you love my work, I have been creating the Marley & Lockyer style since 2007. It’s a lot of trial and error and a lot of hard work. I encourage you to create your own style, and enjoy the process. You’ll get much more reward out of creating your own style, than copying someone else’s.
